Prior to our impending departure, the family and I ventured downtown to the Colorado History Museum. This view is from the top of the Cultural Center Parking Garage at 12th and Broadway.
All the boxes were sent with the movers this morning… hopefully we’ll see them in Japan in a couple months.

A B-18 Bolo, one of only five remaining in the world, at the Wings Over the Rockies Museum at the former Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, CO.
This plane was sold by the US government in 1944 and was used in civilian service, largely in Cuba. It was seized in Florida by US Treasury Agents in 1958 when it was found transporting guns to Fidel Castro’s regime.

Taken on a pretty epic day trip from Denver to Buena Vista, over Cottonwood Pass to Gunnison, over Monarch Pass and back into Denver. That was a lot of driving…
